When it comes to establishing residence squirrels are persistent. Not sure how i would hang a live trap off the roof eave where the squirrel bent the wire mesh that was supposed to keep him out of that area in the first place. They are larger than the flying squirrels. Repel squirrels by simply placing mothballs beside your plants or in household problem areas such as the attic.

You do not have just one squirrel the chances that there is just one squirrel in your ceiling or attic are fairly low. Gray squirrels are about 18 inches long including their 9 inch tails. Flying squirrels can enter the attics through the eaves and soffits thru small cracks.
